All-Energy 2018, which takes place at Glasgow’s SEC on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 May 2018, has once again attracted Shepherd and Wedderburn as its headline sponsor.
“This will be Shepherd and Wedderburn’s third year in this role, we are delighted that they find the show so valuable and it is a delight to welcome back old friends,” explains All-Energy’s Event Director, Jonathan Heastie of Reed Exhibitions.
“All-Energy, the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference, embraces the whole energy system from generation to end user, encompassing energy efficiency, heat, sustainable cities and much else that is of interest to Shepherd and Wedderburn and its clients. Transport also comes under the show’s ‘umbrella’ via the co-located Smart Urban Mobility Solutions, held for the first time in 2017.
“With the launch of the UK Clean Growth Strategy clear areas of focus have been identified across the UK low carbon marketplace, providing new opportunities to the many stakeholders who participate in All-Energy. The show is certainly shaping up well ahead of its 18th edition and should be further boosted by the publication of the UK’s Industrial Strategy White Paper, and the impending publication of the Scottish Government’s Energy Strategy.”
UK’s clean energy success story
“All-Energy 2017 was a fantastic success, attended by over 7,500 delegates from the UK and overseas, all of whom are interested in contributing to the UK’s clean energy success story,” explains Clare Foster, Shepherd and Wedderburn Partner and Head of Clean Energy.
“Shepherd and Wedderburn is delighted to be headline sponsor for the third consecutive year because the conference provides a unique opportunity to share knowledge, forge business relationships and help chart the future direction of the sector. Our clean energy team will be there over the two days to provide legal and commercial updates, meet clients and contacts and share our market-leading expertise.
“All-Energy 2018 promises to be another exciting, high calibre event and we look forward to playing our part in the continuing success and expansion of one of the UK’s most vibrant and innovative sectors.”
In addition to its Headline Sponsor role, Shepherd and Wedderburn will also sponsor the Offshore Wind Theatre, the Sustainable Cities Theatre (in which energy efficiency plays a key role); and two of the show-floor Quick Fire Seminar theatres – Wave & Tidal; and Offshore Wind.
