In our session “The landscapes of the future” on 11th May, Brendan Turvey, Low Carbon Project Manager, NatureScot, delivered a presentation on Piloting a Development Framework for onshore wind at Hagshaw Hill.

Brendan joined NatureScot in 2007, having worked at Enviros consulting and then the Business Environment Partnership where he set up the Hydrogen Office in Methil, Fife. He led on onshore renewable energy policy until October 2020 when he moved to the green finance team. Brendan works on a range of projects which are helping to bring more investment in to nature in Scotland, including from renewable energy. He’s passionate about net zero and the role of nature and renewable energy in taking us there.
