SSEN Transmission is responsible for the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland and the Scottish Islands. Scotland’s transmission network has a key arterial role to play in supporting delivery of the UK’s net zero target, connecting the clean renewable energy needed to support greater societal decarbonisation and electrification.

SSEN Transmission is investing in a Network for Net Zero, as outlined in our stakeholder-ledRIIO-T2 business plan for the current price control from March 2021 – March2026.
