In the Academic Posters, Dr. Eddy Wifa, Energy Law Lecturer, University of Aberdeen, presented his poster entitled “Rethinking the Role of Law and Offshore Wind Health and Safety”.

Dr. Wifa graduated from University of Aberdeen where he completed both a Masters in Oil and Gas law (Distinction) and a PhD in “Offshore Marine Renewable Energy Risk Governance”. He was a Senior Partner at AccendoJuris, a Nigerian based law firm but he now fully committed to teaching and research. His research interests include, risk governance, petroleum and natural resource governance, regulatory theories in high-major risk industries, decommissioning and clean energy regulation.
