In our session “The landscapes of the future” on 11th May, Grant Douglas, Senior Planning & Environmental Policy Manager, ScottishPower Renewables, delivered a presentation on the role of ‘Energy Parks’ in our future landscapes.

Grant is responsible for ScottishPower Renewables’ planning and environmental policy across the UK and is at the heart of an ambitious pipeline of onshore and offshore wind together with storage and solar. Grant has held several strategic roles across ScottishPower over the past 10 years. His experience as a town planner, spans across multiple sectors and along with renewable energy has included the development of Transmission Systems across the UK. Grant has led a number of award-winning projects on behalf of ScottishPower which have been recognised by the RTPI together with the Scottish Government.
