For the first time a competition is being held that will provide SMEs with the opportunity to have their groundbreaking solutions displayed in the Innovation Zone at All-Energy, the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference, being held at Glasgow’s SEC 14-15 May.
The competition, launched by RX, owners and organisers of the annual event. will see winners invited to display their solution in the Innovation Zone, give an elevator pitch in one of the popular show floor theatres and have their innovation promoted pre-show.
“If you are an SME with an innovative solution to help achieve a net zero energy future, this is your chance to shine” said All-Energy Event Manager, Anam Khan. ”We are offering a few forward-thinking businesses the incredible opportunity to showcase their product at the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference.
“As part of the Innovation Zone, we will be spotlighting groundbreaking solutions that help reduce carbon emissions and help the drive to Clean Power 2030 and beyond to Net Zero 2050. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow winners to connect with key stakeholders, partners and customers to drive growth and success.”
The competition is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 20 employees. The products/solutions must be linked to any of the renewable energy generation sectors that come under the spotlight at All-Energy: on- and offshore wind, solar, bioenergy, marine renewables – wave and tidal stream, hydropower and tidal range; hydrogen and energy storage; and the decarbonisation of heat, built environment, cities, transport and industry; plus AI and digital technologies in the energy/decarbonisation sector; and solutions/technology for skills and training development.
Entries will be judged on the uniqueness of the solution, potential impact on decarbonisation and net zero goals and alignment with the objectives of All-Energy,
