In our session Built Environment Show Floor Theatre on 12th May, Jim Hart, Director, JH Sustainability, delivered a presentation on embodied carbon – the overlooked issue in sustainable construction.

Jim Hart, Director, JH Sustainability

Jim has been working in areas related to sustainability, energy and resources since the turn of the Millennium. He operates through his own consultancy business, and has previously been a Senior Environmental Scientist at AECOM and a business and innovation manager at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute. With a long interregnum following his first degree in chemistry, he has recently completed a Doctorate at Edinburgh Napier University on the subject of biogenic carbon in construction.
