In the Built Environment Show Floor Theatre on 11th May, Heather Jones, Programme Manager, Salix Finance, delivered a presentation on transitioning to a low carbon future with Salix Finance.

Heather joined Salix 4 years ago and manages their Scotland funding programme. Salix is a non-departmental public body funded by BEIS, Scottish & Welsh Governments, providing Government funding to the public sector to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and lower energy bills. Heather’s role involves leading the team to build relationships and facilitate the uptake of funding, enabling energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects across the Scottish public sector. Heather holds an MSc from the University of Manchester in Environmental Governance and prior to working at Salix worked in Sustainability Engagement at the University of London.
